Whitakes moved— " That In the i •vent of a reduction being made In the cumber of members of the Honse of Representatives, the members of this Coaooll thonld lie reduced to one-half of the number of members of ths House, •nd that the seme proportion should theroaftor be maintained ; that it be referred to a Beleot Committee to consider and report as to the best plan by which the redaction c»n be tffected."
