The tenth annual exhibition of stock, produce, farm Implements and manufactures., under the aunpicoa of the Aahbutton Agricultural and Pistoral AobooU-; thn, was held at the. grouuda of the ABhburton County S.leyarda Oj?npany yesterday. The show wsb favored with lovely weather, and as a conatqienoe there waa a large attendance. The ABhburton Band was un the ground after midday, and discoursed music which Contributed greatly to enliven the proceedings. The publicans' , booth* were held by Mrs Butler and Mr Henry reepeOtively, and IVTr Divia presided at the oinfeotloner't. booth. The total number of entries was . , 495. The Bubjoined table gives a list of the number of exhibits m each class for several years past ; —
It will be seen from the forogoing table tbat the total number of entries this year ie an advance upon that for last There has been a substantial increase m the numbers of horses and cattle entered, more especially m the former. There has been a largo increase m dairy produce, the entries totalling 90, tbe largest number yet exhibited here.
