The Ouutoma revenue collected In the colony for Ihe September quarter amounted to £424,507, as Against £337 032 for the corresponding quarter of 1886. The principal items ware :— Auckland, £66 569 ; Wellington, £58.501; Lyttelton, £56,969 ; Dunedin, £80,832.
The value of import! for the quarter was £1,845,132 ai against £1-981,768 fur the same quarter last year, Auckland imported goods to the value of £4)0 202; Wellington, £334 346; Lyttolton £356,071; DunediD, ±516.fc54.
The value of t">-> exports was £1,113 739 as against £1,027,658 m the September quarter of 1886 Auckland exported £•^53.232 ; W^ilin^ton, £163 366 ; Lyttaltjc, £275,451 ; Dunedtn £258,940.
