_ + _ The following is the Corn Exchange report for the week ending Friday, the 14th inst. : — We have but little to report m the grain market, purchases are only made from hand to mouth, and for absolute orders to hnnd. The English wheat market shows no signs of reviving to any extent, and m Australia there appears to be plenty of Btocks for their requirements. Potatoes, however, have found ready eale for shipment per Hauroto, which left for Sydney yesterday. Buyers, however, ore not anxious to purchase for the next steamer, and it is doubtful whether the present , prices will be maintained. Wheat. — Small orders continue to bo executed from ex Btore lots, buyers h tying the best of the markets. Pearl and Tuscan are being held at 3s 5d to 3s 6d ; and Hunter's at 33 4d ; chicken wheat has a fair demand at 3a for whole, and 2s 8d to 2s lOd for broken. Ovrs; — Only a trade business is being done. Milling have been quitted at la 1 lOd to Is lid ; and short heavy feed at la 9d to Is 9^d ; and Danißh and Tartar at la 7d to Is Bd. , Barley — -Fone offering, except small seed lines which are selling at 4s to ss. Peas — Several lines of Blue Prussians have been cod at 3s to 3s Id, for ship meat to Lojdon, but feed soils have no enquiry . Beans are low m stock, and are worth, m smah lots, 3s to 3s Id, Grass Seed. — Sales continue on a small scale for machine dressed at 3s to 3s 3d. Farmers parcels have no enquiry. Cocksfoot. — The season is nearly past, , Southern ordera are becoming smaller, and prices are slightly easier, although stocka held are now m a very limited compass. Potatoes. — Several lines have been placed at 13s to 15s, at country stations, for shipment yesterday to Sydney, Buyers are now more chary about speculating. Dairy Pkoduoe.— No business ia being done. Butter can be purchased at 2d t 1b with no buyers. Cheese is also without buyers.
