UNEMPLOYED DEMONSTRATIONS.
[Rbutkr's Telegrams— Copyright] London, October 12. Continuous demonstrations have been held throughout the city to-day by the unemployed. At an eariy hour thousands of persons assembled m Trafalgar squere, where a number of threatening speeches were delivered. A procession was aftet wards formed, which proceeded to the Mansion House, a black banner bearing the inscription, " Bread or Work," being prominently displayed. On arriving at the Mansion House, the deputation interviewed the authorities, and made a demand for food or employment. The Police Court at Bow street wasi rushed to-day by hundreds of indigent persons seeking parish relief.
