FATAL ACCIDENT

Jobn Eltringham, n young man, wo k: Ing on a new bridge at Arnold river, Watson's contract, fall c£f a staging 40ft high and. fractured hia Bkull. When pickrd up he was dead, his brains protruding. He fell on a log, a roaring torrent underdeath. Deceased was 19 years of age. Hib father resides at Oobcen The body was swept into the Grey river. The cause of the fall was that his foot tripped on the staging while fetching a hammer.
