He consented to vadaruike the formation of a new Ministry bat asked for time* Wkclingtoh, October 1, Major A kinson goes to Nelson this evening on family affairs and will return by Wednesday, for whioh day a meeting of the Opposition is oalled. The Major has obtained until Friday atxt to form his Mmigtry and it iv not Anticipated anything definite oao be known till after Wednesday's meeting. Major Atkinson denies that he has any Intention of forming a coalition cabinet. Meanwhile the Government are holding BMtinpi daily, clearing up accumulations of business and potting things m order.
