[REUTBR's TKLEGHaH— COPYRIGHT.] Calcutta, Septembsr 26 Intelligence has reached here from Afghanistan, reporting the defection of an Afghan General, Abdulla Khan, who with the regiment under his command, consisting of two thousand zamidars, has escaped from Afghanistan for the purpose of joining Ayoub Khan. London, September 26. It is reported that Ayoub Khan, who lately escaped into Afghanistan, has appealed to the Emir of Bokhara for assistance m attacking Cabul.
