Second ! quality is chiefly taken for ohicken wheat ! ;at 3i Id to 3a 2d; broken wheat is m ! iair demand at 2i 8d to 2i lOd. Oats have been sllghtfy ealier daring j the week, but as prime short samples are ! ;in few hands we rather expect a firmness | than otherwise daring the next few weeks. I Second quality short feed are finding j buyers at Is 9 d to Is lOd, and Danish and I Tartars are dull at Is 7d to Is Bd. Barley . — Maltsters are not m the | market, and any small lines offering are | taken for seed or shipment to Viotoria at prices ranging from 3s 3d to 3s 9d for second quality. J_.sa.k_ are quiet at 3a 2d to 3s 33, and peas are almost unsaleable at 3j 3d for Prussia- Blues, and 2. 9d to 2. lOi for feed lines' Rye Grass has a very limited demand. Farmers have, m the muiu, saved their own seed and the outside orders are very limited. Cocksfoot has a fair enquiry from the South at 3|d for second quality, rap to 4£3 for prime heavy seed. Potatoes have been sold at 10s a ton at country stations. Dairy Pboduoe. — Salt butter may be purchased at almoßt any price, as really there is no outlet. Cheese is without any demand. Good quality can be purchased at 3d. The above prioes are those paid to farmers and delivered f. o. b. Ly tteltop, sacks included,
