A proclamation has been issued by the Irish Executive ordering the suppression of the National League in County Clare and in portions of five other counties.

Archbishop Walsh deplores that the opportunity offered by the conference of landlords and tenants is lost.
Mr Labouchere urges resistance if the police interfere with orderly meetings.
