Sib, — At the nomination to-day, I f inadvertently omitted to reply to that 1 part of Mr Walker's speech wherein he i accased me of being the nominee of the i ChristchuTch Political Reform Association. I Will you allow me to say that the charge r is absolutely without foundation The ' Christchurch Political Reform Association has nothing whatever to do with my candidature ; nor have I anything whatever to do with the Association. lam * surprised that Mr Walker should make such a charge against me.
