FURTHER DEBATES IN THE HOUSE. . [ijeutsr's telegrams— ooptbiqht.] London. September 14. The debate on Irish affairs continued m the Commons last night, when Mr Dillon demanded lenient treatment for the Irish political prisoners. The Chief Secretary for Ireland stated that the Government declined to distinguish between incitors to crime and actual criminals. Mr Parnell bitterly denounced the barbarity of the decision of the Government, which he declared would be responsible for the conse-' quencss if the Irish people retaliated. Parliament will be prorogued on Friday next. [SPEOIIL TO PRESS ASSOCIATION.] London, September 13. In the House of Commons, on- the discussion of the Irish affairs, Mr Gladstone strongly deprecated acts of recrimination m dealing with the Irish difficulty. Mr Parnell moved the adjournment of the House to allow the debate to be lengthened, but the motion was subsequently negatived. Lord R. Churchill said the Irish people had chollenged the Government, and Fat Haraent must support Ministers.
