ANNOYING A CANDIDATE.

Auckland, September 9. Mr D. G<ildie, one of the candidates for Auckland West, received this morning a Urge brown paper paroel with the following inscription ectawled upon it '. —"David Goldie, Orange pup, beware !" On opening it he found it contained a human skull of ghastly whiteness, and attached to it a pair of human thigh bonca. The relics had particles of sandy boII on them, and seemed as if they had been disinterred for the purpose. The parcel was left on the verondah of Goldlb's bouße, and it is not known by whom. The paltry advice is regarded by many as a joke, and by others as a veiled threat.
