London, September 1. Consols remain at ioo%. New Zealand Inscribed Stock is at The Bank of England weekly returns show the total revenue m notes and bullion to be a decrease of during the week. The proportion of reserve to liabilities is 42 per cent. The Bank rate of discount today was raised to 4 per cent., and the market rate 3^. The Directors of the Bank of England to-day raised the rate of discount to 4 per cent. Sydney, September 2. New Zealand wheat is quoted at 3s 3d to 3s 6d ; New Zealand oats, 28 to 2s 3d j maize, 3s 6d.
