.BRISBANE, AngUßt 30. It is announced that Mr Dutton, has been appointed Minister of Public Works and Mines, vacant by the death of Mr Miles. It is at present uncertain whether the Colonial Treastirership, vacant by the resignation of MrDickson, on, will be filled. Political parties are bestirring themselves for the forthcoming election, and the contests are likely to be keen.
