Lfbom our correspondent. J At last this quiet place assumes a busy appearance. Mr Forras, from the Bay of Islands, has had a commodious baker's, •oven built, and intends starting m con • nection therewith a general store which will supply a long felt want. Several village Bettlerß have already occupied thoir holdingß, so that this once dreary plain has every appearance of being converted invo comfortable homesteads. Last, but not least, come our Wesleyan friends, who are making an effort to build a church So far, the public have generously responded. They expect to have it ready for opening m November next, and that, free of debt, to hand over to the Wesloyan Conference, So muoh for enterprise here.
