The total reserve m notes and bullion m the Bank of England is ;£ 11,300,000, and the proportion to the liabilities is 41 per cent. The reserve shows an increase during the week of and the proportion 3 per cent. The Bank rate of discount is 3 per cent. 1 he market rate 2^. There is no change to report m breadstuff's or tallow.
Adelaide, August 12 Wheat is dull at 3s gi to 3s iod. Town flour is quoted at £9 5s to 15s; country brands, -£8 5s to £% 1 os.

New Zealand wheat is 3s 6d, and New Zealand oats is 9d to 2s 3d ; maize, 3s 4d ; potatoes, 35s to 455.

London, August 11. The Antwerp wool sales will open on the 17th. Thirty-seven thousand bales will be offered, including 11,000 bales of Australian wool.
Oranges by the Austral averaged 8s id per box, some going as hjgh as us 6d. Two hundred cases turned out to be unsound.
The Hessian fly and drought are causing injury to the English crops.
