The ueual monthly meeting of the Wlnslow District Sohool Committee was held m the Boh ool room on Saturday, August 6 Present—Messrs Wilson, Droninn, Bellamy, Grace and Harris. The minutes of the previous meeting were read aad confirmed. APPOINTMENT. The application of Mr George Pope waa accepted for Master of the fachool In piece of Mr G. Oulverhouse, who Is leaving for Tinwald. VOTE OF THANK 9, The Committee passed a vote of thanks to Mr and Mrß Oulvorhonae for the able manner m which their duties had been carried oat, and also wishing them every oucceoH m their new home at Tinwald. TKNDKHS. Tenders were opened for trimmiog the fence round thenchoolground, the tender of Mr Davis being accepted at 6d per oh«In. BPItOIAL MBEIIVO, It was proposed to hold a special meeting on the 16th instant to appoint a seeing mistress. The meeting then adjourned
