C'r Weymouth Roberts haß resigned lu'b seat on the Borough Counoil, it being uncertain when the oontract he ia now engaged on m the North Island will be completed. At last night's meeting of tbo Counoil the members were unanimous m thoir expressions of regret at losing the services of Or Roberts, whose practical knowledge had always beon willingly devoted to the servioe of the borough, and they trusted that on his return ho would see his way to again seeking election to the Council.
