RESCUE OF A SHIPWRECKED CREW.
The steamship Lubeck has arrived from Samoa. She brings the captain and crew of the German ship Hugo, which was totally wrecked on May 27th on a reef m the Phoenix Group, stud to have been wrongly charted. The crew were rescued by the Auckland schooner Oliver after living on Enderby Island for a month. The Lubeck briogi news that the English Consul at Apia is on a visit to Tonga, owing to ill health.
