Dunedin, July 27. At the half-yearly meeting of the Colonial Bank, the report declaring^ dividend cf Boven per CGBHF_B*ad*°pted, and a resolution changing the date of balancing was confirmed. The Hon G. McLean, tho Chairman, m his remarks said ho did not see there waß anything to fear with regaid to the colony ; if they could establish confidence they would get on better. He stated that of the deposits three-fourths were of sumf of £300 and under, showing that the acquired capitalof the colony waß spread over a considerable number.
