CHRISTCHURCH HORSE MARKET
Messrs H. Mataon and Co., report : — Last Saturday's horse sale at Tatteraall'a was represented by a small entry, the inclemency of the weather immediately preceding, and its disastrous effects, absorbing the attention of farmers for the time being. In plough horses there were not many offering, and the few of this class to hand were mostly paßt their prime, and not altogether of a desirable deeotiptlon. Any that were of the right age, etc, found buyers at from £15 to £22 10b, medium aorta £9 to £12. Of boyero for plough hortes, there were more present than we have noticed for Borne weeks, bat owing to the limited supply, several were unable to meet their requirements. A fair number of hack and light harneas horses found buyers at current rates, but the sale, as far as the entry goes, was one of the smallest hold for some time.
