The Giaborne Murder. ; GISBOKNB, July 8. The papers In the Gisboino murder case has been sent to the Minister! of Justice at Auckland The J jdgo's report was that there wns nothing m the evidence to justify the remission, but it is probable that the Cabinet will be favorable to a commutation m view of the superstitions surroundings of the crime. The sentence will probably be altered to a term of Imprisonment sufficient to mark a sense of the gravity of the deed, but not bo rigorous as would be applied m the case of Europeans or had the victims b«en a European.
