■R Wellington, July 4 There have been many changes In the WS electoral boundaries m adjusting the |&rdistriotß to the quota of population, reBulling m the number of electorates m the BY North Island being increased by three tm and those m the Middle Bland, belt, 6 H decreased by the tame number, the H numbers now being respectively 39 and H 52, or la all ninety-one for the colony. H The decrease m the Middle Island has H been effected by making one electorate B >aas m the group of West Coast, Nelson I >nd Mtrlborough electorates, and two less B m the Canterbury and Otago group. ■ In the North Island two electorates are ■ (Iven to the Wellington, Taranaki, and m Hawkes' Bay group of electoral districts, H .nd one to Auckland group. The alteraH .ions and adjustments induced by there 9 b ihaeges have necessarily so effected boonB darles as to render some of the old j 9 t names of electorates no longer applicable ■f or deaeriptive. The following names have B* therefore been discarded, viz, Auckland Bt Sftst, Wellington South, Wairarapa South, B Wairarapa North, Pioton, Waimea, StanB more, Coleridge, Wakanul, Geraldiue, B Moerakiand Waikaualti, The new names B are Auckland Central, Ponsonby, WoodB ville, Masterton, Wairarapa, Wellington B Bait, Wellington South, and Suburb, B Waimea, Picton, Llnwood, Rangiora, B Walhemo snd Waikaia. The electorates B which remain as they were are Auckland, H Napier, Nelson, fiokltlka, Wairau, H Christohuroh North, Christohuroh South. H Danedin East, Roslyn and Wallace.
