The value of this land, with the improvements, is not less than $60,000,000 Employment Is found for at least 40,000, who, with their families, represent a producing population of 150,000 persons. Four hundred varieties of grapes, are grown m California. Twenty million gallons of wine are produced yearly, and grapes are Bhlpped to almont every city and town m the Union, while Califo nlm raisins are competing with the best European products m the markets of the world.
