PROBABLE ENTRIES AND EVENTS
So muoh interest is being taken by the public event at this early datn In the forthcoming events of this meeting that, despite the general oonfuaion and uncer* talnty that exists with regard to the arrangement] and possible- entries, we feel called upon to lay before our readers such information as we have boen able to gather. It must not be forgotten that the alterations to the conrse are nit yet completed, and that the new turns are
likely to be of such a nature as to deter Hiveral owners from trusting valuable animals on the slippery ground. Our Sporting Editor apologises for thn inoomplete nature of the information given below, and fur the apparently hasty way m whioh it has been put together* The general uncertainty before referred to must bo onr excuse. We give most of the races oortain to ba run, bnt btlieve that other events will ba fonnd added when the official programme is published. The note (?) marks doubtful starters.
