BLACK WOOL.
A tt markable rnn up on black wool ooourred at the April sales m London, it being In demand for natural colors. In many in-.tmces the bales of clack brought from 2i to 6£d per lb more thau the beat of the clip m which they belonged, scoured black realising up to 2s 53, and greasy op to 17d. It is believed tbat this advance was occasioned by the demand for a description of all-wool clothing patented by Dr. Jager, .one of the peculiarities of whioh is that as far as prssible no dyes must be used m its preparation, Every artlole of dress under this system is of wool, and: not an atom of other material is allowed. It is apparent that if no dye is to be used, people will naturally demand the darker wools for outer garments. ;
