C^ait^e. — The supply of fat cattle that cam 0 to hand was very small, but sufficient to b spply all demands, and there was no Impr ovement m prices. Steers sold at from £5 6b up to £8 10j ; helfors and fat oow.« at from £3 5i up to £6, being from 14s to 17a 6d per 1001 b. There were no Hoes. «f deoldedly Inferior quality offered. Thert were very few stores or dairy cowa on »ffer, and prloes for these lines remVcned at abont^last quotations. Thare is b till a fair demand for springers and good milkers. fc'HEBP. — A grand lot of sheep came to han<i!i and sales were very steady. Prices received were a slight improvement on laat week's quotations. Good crossbred wethers fetched np to 12a 2d ; ewes, 8s 6d to lls Id; and middling from 7a to 9i. Altog other the sheep were as good an allround lofc«ahavebeen penned for some tima. Mr J. Goagh, Messrs Giilingham Bros., and thw towoliffe Estate sent m splendid lots of crossbred wethers. There was a ■mall 'Bntry of stores, and these were of inferior •jvality, but realised average prices. A small line of lambs were disposed of at f>s Pigs — There was a good entry, mostly prime quality, and prices realised were very satisfactory, showing a slight increase over late quotations. Farmers' prime baconer* sold at from 36s to 45s Gd, and those of slightly inferior quality found ready aale at from 203 to 32s 6d. Porkws showed a good entry, and lold well at frow 13a to 20a,
