Railway Debentures Float ci. Wellington, June 10. The Chairman of the Wellington-Man** vratu Railway Company has received a cable from London announcing that the whole of the Company's debentures (£120,000) on the new Issue of shares had been taken up. Courts number of boot factory hands, charged with rattening were remanded till Wednesday next. Stamp Act. In the R.M. Court to-day three em* ployees of the Wellington Meat Company waa charged with an Infringement of the Stamp Act m not stamping the^pay-fjheet as a receipt for wages. The Magistrate disagreed with the decision recently given by the Chrlstohuroh Magistrste m a similar case, and held that there was a money payment and it did not come within the exemption provided by tbe Act.
