THE NEW HEBRIDES.
London, June 7
In the House of Commons this afternoon Mr Smith, the First Lord of the Treasury, announced that negotiations between the British and French Governments regarding the New Hebrides were still proceeding. It was further stated that the delay which occurred m regard to the settlement of the New Hebrides question was not due to the action of the Imperial Government.
