Produce — Der went potatoes at present glut the market; and farmers would do well to pit them, as It Is Impossible to find a decent market for them when they are placed on sale m such large quantities. 40s to 453 for best, 30s to 35s Inferior ; chick wheat, 2s to 2a 6d ; oats, Is 6d to Is 8i ; carrots, 2s 3d ; onions, Id to ljd ; apples, 3d lb ; sharps, 6s to 7a ; oarcwe pork, 3£d lb; mutton, Id to lid lb; hams, 2d, 4dto6d Ibj bacon, Sato 44; lb, Implements.-- Ploughs, £2 10 j, £5 and £6 ; barrows, £4 si, 20s and 12s 6i ; tip dray, £5, etc A large quantity of fruit trees, drapery and clothing, furniture and sundries, sold well, there being a very large attendance the whole day.
