The French and Russian Ambassabadors m this city, acting under instructions from their Governments, have addressed tQ the Porte strong objections to the Egyptian Convention recently concluded between Turkey and Great Britain. Objection is raised especially m regard to the clause providing that should internal trouble arise after the British evacuation has been completed at the end of three years Egppt may be re-occupied by British or Turkish troops conjointly or separately as may be agreed, for the restoration of prder.
