FRENCH AFFAIRS.
Paris, May 31.
A popular demonstration m favor of General Boulanger took place, outside the Grand Opera House tonight. The proceedings, m which several thousand took part, were of a turbulent character. Troops were held m readiness to protect the Champs Elysees, especial care being taken for the protection of the embassies. The proceedings, however, passed off quietly. General Boulanger has left Paris.
