It is rumored that the men m the Mount Somers limestone quarry have found the complete skeleton of an animal m the stone. A friond of mine who went to inspect it was told that loose ckbrishad cOvot'.d it up agdtn ; but that he Hhould shortly have an opportunity of seeing it above tho ground.

On Thursday last our school children presented Mr D. Mncfarlano, former Chairman of tho School Committee, with a handsome album ds a mark of their affection for him.

On Saturday a cricket match was played between the Mount Somors and Springburn Bchool boys, six a Bide.
