PROPERTY SALES.

Previous to the ordinary horse sale, I offered by Older of the [Registrar of the Supreme Court a number of properties m the estate of Robert Wilkin, deceased, situated m the town of Ashburton, Tinwald Town Board. District, and a number of Beotiooß m the township of Hinds. There Vflß a good attendance, and a good deal of interest appeared to be evinced m the sale, find the wholo were sold at the following prices, viz. :— Half interest m T.S. 754, Ashburton, £8 ; Lot 70, containing 1 rood, township of Tinwald, with buildings thereon, £80 ; Lot 73,. containing 1 rood, with butcher's shop and dwelling-house attaohed, £140 ; Lot 148, 1 rood with cottage, £35; Lot 149, 1 rood with «ottage, £30 ; Lot 151, 1 rood with building, £50 j Lot 150, 1 rood, £20 ; Lot 43, containing 37 perches, with buildings, £100 Lot 250, containing 30 porches, £7, The buildings on those properties were m a very dilapidated state. Town ship of Hinds, Lota 20, 1 rood, £1 5s ; 22 do, £1 j 23 do, £2 ; 28 do, £1 5s } 30 do, £1 : 40 do, £1 10s ; 42 do, £2 ; 44 do, £1 10a ;46 do, £1 15s ; 47 do, £1 6s ; 60 do, £1 15 b; 51 do, £2 ss ; 52 do, £2 Bs. Lot 70, containing 2 roods, £1 15s ; 71 do, £1 15 b; 72 do, £1 15s; 80 do, £2 15s. I also sold by order o£ the mortgagee Lot 22, containing 32 perches, part of R 8. 14880 fronting the Wakanui Road, with inferior building thereon, £60. Several other properties were offered, but biddings not realising owners reserves were passed m.
