The cutter Spitfire, bound from Nelson to Giaborne, put In here the week before last for repairs, and left on Monday week for Gisb^rne. She has not been heard of since, but a boat supposed to bo tha diugy of the Spitfire, and some cargo corresponding to that carried bf her, have been washed aehore, with wreckage from the Sir Donald. The Spitfire carried a crew of four hands, bound to Auckland. GIBBOBHE, May 25. The cutter Spitfire tas arrived safely from Nelson.
