POLITICS IN NEW SOUTH WALES.

The Legislative Assembly has been engaged all night m a discussion over the proposed new rules for the enforcement of cloture, and the House is still sitting. During the night a motion that the House adjourn from to-day to the 31st, w,as carried despite the opposition of the Government. An acrimonious debate also took place on the subject of certain correspondence which passed between the Premier and Mr Foster, Attorney-General, whose resignation was announced yesterday. The tone of discussion was generally adverse to Mr Foster. It is announced that Mr Abbott has retired from the position of leader of the Opposition m the Assembly.
