THE GOVERNMENT OF EGYPT.
Constantinople, May 1. In connection with the negotiations which are now proceeding regarding the future government of Egypt, it is announced that the Turkish Commissioners have proposed that the British evacuation of Egypt shall be completed within two or three years at the most instead of five years, as proposed by Sir Drummond Wolft. The British Commissioner has communicated with the Foreign Office, and requested to be further instructed m the matter.
