IMPOUNDING CATTLE.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, — Would the Chairman of the Tinwald Town Board kindly inform me through the columns of the " Guardian " whether he gave permission to the Ashburton poundkeeper to impound oattle straying on private land within the district under the Board's jurisdiction. I am, etc, Ratepayer.
