In the •♦ Grey Elver Arqns " of the 161 h lust the contractors for the Mid* land Railway invite tenders for the Bupply and delivery of 10,000 sleeper a for the line between Stillwater and Nelson oreek* The "Inangahua Times' of the 14th inst says : —The Midland Railway Company are pushing on their workß with all the expedition possible. Working seotiona of the line have been completed up to Nelson Creek, and Mr Avlgdor 1b now In Chriatohurch arranging with Messrs Scott and Wilson, the representatives of the company, for the construction of the Jioe up to that point. The survey of the Reef ton line ha? just been completed up to within a abort distance of the Ina&gahua Saddle.
