CHRISTCHURCH HORSE MARKET
Messrs H. Mataon and 00. report : — At TuttoraaH's on Saturday last our entry for the day comprised 70 horses of various descriptions, including snmo fow good sorted unbrokon colts and fillies, a numb' r of useful farm horßO3, also hacks, light harness horses, &c. Business was not particularly brisk, but some few of the best sorts sold at from £18 to £23 10a ; medium classes, £12 to £16 ; fairly good huokfi, £12 to £15 : ordinary do, £7 to £10.
