UNJUSTLY SUSPECTED.

At a sale whioh took place on the death of the reotor of a parish near Chester, a piano was knookod down to a tradesman of the city. On being tuned and repaired two costly rings were found beneath the keyboard. The finder communicated with the rector's widow, when the following sad story oame light : Eleven years before a lady Btaylng at the reotory had lost theae very rings. She had evidently taken them off while playing and laid them on the the piano, and they had them Bomehow slipped m under the keys. Suspicion, however, bad fallen upon a maid then m the service of the family, and she was sent horn..
