In the House of Commons last night Sir H. Holland, Under-Secretary for the Colonies, replying to a question stated that the Imperial Government had telegraphed to the High Commis sioner of the Pacific instruct ing hint to proceed forthwith to Tonga to report upon the state of affairs there.
