The following ifl the Corn Exohange report for the week ending Friday, SKhlnit:— The weather during the week has been all that could have been desired for thrashing operations, but still a great many samples of| wheat are very much out of condition, and rejections m Lyttelton have been of common occurrence. The Australian markets for oats have a downward tendency. Wheat. — A considerable amount of business has been transacted during the woek on the basis of quotations, Tuscan being m beßt demand at 3s 4d to 3s,4£d, Pearl and Hnnter'B being quitted at 3a 3d to 3s 3£d— the former being bought for the Home markets. Second quality is neglected, and has but few buyers at 3s to 3s 2d. Chicken wheat— Broken findß an outlet m small 'parcels at 2s 8d to 28l0d. Oats -are not effering so freely as might have been anticipated, the low priceß ruling no doubt tending to keep sellers from operating. Prime milling samples are not plentiful at Is lOd to Is lid ; short feed (heavy), Is9dto lslOd ; long and inferior, Is 7d to Is Bd. Barley. — In the absence of any quantity of prime malting samples, buyers are more inclined to do business* and prices are firm at 3s 3d to 3s 4d ; second quality varieß from 2s 9d to 3s* Feed is occasionally enquired for at 2s to 2s 3d. Beans— But few are yet offering^ and prices are unsettled Peas — Feed are quiet, 2s lOd to 3a Prussian Blues, 3s 3d to 3s 6d, according to quantity and quality. Bye Grass — Business has been rather quiet for the past week.- Sales have been made at 2s 3d, 2s 6d, and 2s 9d for ordinary "farmers' parcels, while extra well cleaned seed commands 3s to 3s 3d; machine dressed is quoted at 3s 6d to 3s 9d.

Potatoes— -Kidneys are now being taken up ; and for local trade £2 15s is being obtained, but the market is rather week. Dairy produce — Bueinesß is unsatisfactory to producers. Butter has only a moderate enquiry at B^d to 6d ; paßtry, 3d to 3£d. Cheese has a quiet trade at 4d to s£d, according to size and quality. The above prices are those paid to farmers, and delivered f.ob. Lytte.'ton, racks extra.
