JUVENILE TEA PARTY.
Yesterday afternoon, while perambulating the street In quest of Incidents, startling or other wist, we were attracted by the shouts and laughter of children m the southern portion of the town, On arriving In Moore street, we found a very large party of youngsters who were being entertained by our genial townsman, Mr T. Hoult of Herbal Beer celebrity. The juvenile guests began to arrive about halfpast three, and amused themselves playing at various games such as kiss-ln-the-rlng, etc, until 5 o'elook, when 67 sat down to a substantial tea, very nicely laid ont m Mr Hoult's beautiful 000 l cellar. The gocd things having been partanen of and most thoroughly appreciated, tho children were turned ont, when the fun became fast and furicus, pcrombltog for apples, nuts aod lollies, and racing for lucky ba^s, which *ai kept up till 8 o'cl ok, when all wore sout back to the cellar, where that time-honored pastime, snap-dragon, was provided to the wonderment and awe of most of the little ones.
