ENGLAND AND EGYPT.
London, February 22. In the House of Commons last night, Sir James Ferguson, Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs, made a statement to the effect that Sir H. Drummond Wolff's proposals with regard to Egypt would not involve the withdrawal of the British troops from that country while Egypt is unable to defend herself.
