Dunbdin, February 22 The Fire Brigades' Demonstration at Dunedin yesterday was fairly fiuccessful, notwithstanding a few slight hitches Only three events were completed out of a programme of thirteen events. Results : Ladder Bice for one m*n. Corke, New Plymouth, Jssec 1 Hatteral, Napier, 16$ sec ... 2 Aehburton was represented by two men (Baker 21 3-sths sec, and Clark 26sec). Hose Practice. Spit, 48 15 th see 1 South Dunedin, SOjpcs ... 2 Dunedin, 54 1 sth bee ... 3 Aehburtou's time wa3 69 l-sth sees. Engine Pkactice for five men. Spit, 46 l-sth (including 4gec penalty) 1 Dnnedin City, 48 loth Bee (including bsec penalty) 2 Bangiora, 49 l-sth sec (including 6 sec penalty) ... 3 Ashburton's time was 66^sors, including 6sec penalty.
