The Ton nan Government schooner Eandfly brings details of recent events m Tonga. Several of the prisoners made full confession of the attempted murder and of their principal accomplices m the plot. The Btitish and German Ooneuls were present at tbe trial. It was stated that a ju.mbc. of leading Wesleyan natlveg hare been for months past urging runaway criminals to murder tbt> Premier, the Minister of Police, and the PoHca Magistrate, Tobin. One of the prisoners was alio m league with others, whose object was to murder the King and hta family and place bis nephew on the throne. The murder of the Premier was deliberately planned, and many Btadenta at tbe Weilevan College were m the plot and aiding tbe murderera. A native Wesleyan Minister confessed to km wing of tbe plot to murder, bat was afraid to Inform lest be shou d be killed.
