MEETING OF RATEPAYERS.
A meeting of rate* ayers was held on. Monday m the Mount Somers Road Board office to consider whether the road recently advertised 10 be closed should be oloaed or otherwise. Five ratepayers were present, Mr Ptwche m the chair. The Chairman read the uotioe calling the meeting, also the notice deeoribing the road proposed lo be closed. *fter answering aevoral questions the vote was trken, resulting m the proposal beiDg rejected. The meeting then terminated.
