Messes Miles & Co.
Messrs Miles and Co. (Mr J. T. Ford, auctioneer), m conjunction with Mr George Jameson, held their third wool sale of the season on Taesday, when about 250 bales and a large quantity of bag wool and skins were submitted. The bidding was not so animated or keen as on former occasions, exoept when really first-class lots were offered. Being the last sale of the season, as a matter of course, a number of job lots, heavy and greasy, came to hand, and the majority of the wool brought forward was not put together m a manner likely to tempt buyers, and farmers must really exercise more oare and attention m this direotion if they wish to realise remunerative, not to say fanoy prices. The exceptions to the complaint mentioned had reason to be well satisfied with biddings, B £d and B^d for halfbred, and BJd for msrino being obtained. The following is a detailed list of the lots offered: —
